# UserInfo response encrypted (JWE)

If the userInfo response is not a Nested JWT, but:

* a JWE with a json payload : do like for a [Nested JWT](/php-oidc-client/advanced-topic/nested-jwt.md)
* a JWS : Nothing to do
* a JSON : Nothing to do
